Abstract:
The healthcare service delivery system heavily relies on the essential pillar of health laboratory
services, which stand as the backbone for effective, accurate, and reliable diagnostic outcomes
within a national health system. These services are instrumental in providing precise disease
diagnoses, supporting clinicians in formulating evidence-based care strategies, and enabling
timely prognoses for potential health outcomes. Over the years, there has been an undeniable
surge in the reliance on laboratory results for clinical decision-making. This increased
dependence originates from the rapid development and dissemination of innovative diagnostic
methodologies and technologies, the integration of automated testing instruments, the
widespread implementation of data connectivity solutions, and the advancement of evidence-
based medical practices.
