Capacity needs assessment for nutrition monitoring, evaluation and policy research in Ethiopia

Abstract

In 2018, the Government of Ethiopia endorsed its first National Food and Nutrition Policy (NFNP) and

launched the National Information Platform for Nutrition (NIPN) to promote evidence-based decision- making under the new policy. The NFNP promotes a coordinated and comprehensive approach to food

and nutrition security and highlights the importance of evidence-based decision-making.
