dc.description.abstract Neonatal jaundice is a major cause of neonatal intensive care unit admission and is one of the leading causes of morbidity in neonate. However, little is known about the time to death and its predictors among neonates with hyperbilirubinemia. Therefore, this study aimed to assess survival status and predictors of mortality among neonates admitted with hyperbilirubinemia in neonatal intensive care units of public hospitals in Addis Ababa. Methods: This retrospective cohort study was conducted in public hospitals in Addis Ababa Ethiopia, and included 380 neonates admitted with hyperbilirubinemia from January 2021 to December 2022. en_US
